Smokin' the Dummy

Click here to link to Amazon.comOK, I have the perfect opportunity to quote from one of Texas' great musicians, Terry Allen, but Dylan's new record is too good to cut short. So instead of linking to Terry's music, I'll just tell you that if you like your music straight instead of neat, you should pick up a Terry Allen CD... a good place to begin is with the CD containing two of his early '80's albums: Smokin' the Dummy and Bloodlines. It sounds like you're driving through Del Rio in 1959. But I digress...

Bruce Silver replied to my post on the book "SOA for Dummies" and there's a nice thread on his comments between the two of us... here's the link.

Business process management requires a new set of technologies. When I started this blog in 2005, I wrote "By 2010, These will replace ERP as the primary focus of solution engineering at companies large and small." This has occurred. I also wrote" "By 2020, managing process through technology will be second nature to senior executives, and the transactional systems we use today will be like mainframes. My blog talks about BPM today, tomorrow and where we'll be in 2020." I still believe that. Welcome.
